 Services of Hazardous Materials Control:

1-    Application for Import of Radioactive Material.
Service Description:
Exporting and importing Radioactive Materials will be approved after verifying and providing the required documents. In addition to that, an inspection should be done on the materials to make sure of its flawlessness and its compliance with the preventive conditions required for the field of radioactive materials shipping, and to make sure of the transportation vehicle approval.

2-    Application for Re-Export of Radioactive Material

Service Description:
Balloons launching will be approved for advertisement, parties or passengers transportation purposes after verifying the required documents. In addition to that, an inspection should be done on the balloon installation location and making sure of its compliance with the required preventive conditions.

6-    Attesting Tanks for Flammable Liquids
Service Description:
Tanks for Flammable Liquids and Hazardous Materials will be approved after attesting the site map and conducting the required inspection to make sure of its compliance with the Flammable Liquids or other Hazardous Materials Tanks’ preventive conditions.

7-    Application for Approval of Hazardous Materials Trading
Service Description:
Hazardous Materials trading licenses will be approved after a proper inspection of the construction, warehouses, vehicles, and tanks affiliates to it. In addition to that, verifications should be done to make sure of the preventive conditions commitment and of the competent governmental agencies approval.

8-    Attesting Hazardous Materials Warehouses
Service Description:
Warehouses will be approved after verifying and preparing the required documents for licensing or for contract approval. In addition to that, an inspection should be conducted for the warehouse in order to assert its compliance with the preventive conditions in accordance with the storage material type.

9-    Attesting Establishments where Utilizing Hazardous Materials
Service Description:
This attesting will be done by submitting the required documents and conducting an inspection in order to make sure of its compliance with the preventive conditions in accordance with the kind of the construction. These documents should be approved by the licensing section too.

Service Description:
These constructions will be approved by submitting the required documents and by conducting an inspection on the offices and warehouses in addition to verifying the fulfillment of the preventive conditions for transferring gas cylinders in vehicles.

 Chemical Transportations vehicle Safety Requirements

1-    Chemical storage Container shall be enclosed from the top and back    and liquid light .
2-    The back side shall de shown with " caution " chemical  transportation vehicle
3-    Transporter Name and can tact  number shall de write on the rear side of the vehicle container and No smoking – warning sign on the side of container shell be shown .
4-    2 NO.of ( 4.5 kg ) ABC type dry powders portable extinguishes shall be provided and secured in metallic brakets .
5-    Combany name and contact numbers shell be shown on the sides vehicle's doors .
6-    Reflective yellow black strips shall de located on the front, rear pampers and on both side vehicle parriers.
7-    Dangerous / No smoking signs shall be locates on conspicuous position on both side and back of vehicle Container .
8-    UN-Plackard shall be located an both side and back of the vehicle .
9-    Yellow beacon light shall be located on the top of driver capine .
10 -Vehicle smoke exhaust shall be positioned vertically and located under the driver capine, away from the fuel tank .
11-Spark arrestor shall be provided .                            

Radioactive Materials Transportation Vehicle  Safety Requirements


1-    The vehicle shall be liable for transportation according with vehicle registration or traffic department testing .
2-    Radioactive plackard shall be provided on both side of the vehicle and on the rear .
3-    Two dry powder ( ABC ) type fire extinguishers ( 4  kg) capacity shall de brovided .
4-    Approved red coulos sign shall be provided in rear side of the vehicle in  a conspicuous position and shall be worded ( caution – don’t approch radioactive Materials thansportation ) .
5-    Red coulor ( danger ) sign shall be located on both sides of the vehicle and on the rear .
6-    the Radio active material shall be stored in metal box not less than        ( 8 ml) in thickness and shall be provided with lock, the wight of the metal box and maximum Wight of the vehicle shall be considesed .
7-    Yellow becon light  shall de provided on the deriver cabine .
8 - Saund warrig shall be provided and connecting case open the rear door
9 - Tool shall de provided to fixed the internal box .
10 - Reflective yellow / black strips shall be located on the front , rear   bampers and poth side barriers .
11 – Container shall be enclosed from the top and rear .
12 – Installation of plate of Lead (5 ) Cm. thick in side the Container .
13 - Dose meter shall be provided



Tankers Safety Requirements


1 - The tank external appearance shall be in good condition .
2 - Company Name and contact numbers to be written an both doors of the vehicle .
3 -  Tank capacity , No smoking sign and dangerous sign worded in red colors in Arabic and English shall be writhen on both side of the Tankers and on the rear .
4 - UN plackard shall be located on both side and backside of the tankers .
5- Approved red coulos sign shall be provided in rear side of the vehicle in    a conspicuous position and shall be worded ( caution – don’t approch ……..Tanker ) .
6 - Yellow black reflective strips shall be fixed on the front ,real bumpers and on the side vehicle barriers .
7 -  2 NOS fire extinguisher of 12 KG 
8 - yellow becon light shall be provided of the top of the driver capine .
9 - The thicknessoff the tank body shoud not be less than 4ml .
10 - Rear lower & upper bumpers support should be fixed ( 40 ) Cm. away from the Tank .
11 -  All valve , pipes ,connections wiring and pump in proper condition , no leaking.
12 - Manhole cover shall be designed to provide safe lock with relive pressure valve.
13 - Side barriers of steel should be fixed under & around both sides of the tanker with steel ladder.
14 - Safety valve and Paramater should be fixed .
15 - Emergency valve below the tank with shut – off manual valve .
16 - Vehicle smoke exhaust shall be positioned vertically located under the driver capine away from the fuel tank and shall be provided with spark arrestor .
17 - The battery should be covered with insulated material and supplied with master switch off .
18 - Earthing connection should be fixed on the tankers body .
19 – Baffle blate should be fixed in the tank ( more than 3000 Gallons ) .

Flammable Substan Tank Safety  Requirements

1-Safe distance not less than ( 25M ) to be from all directions .
2-distribution points shall be located not less than ( 15 m ) from the tank .
3- the basin shall shall made of brik and the basin hight shall not be less than ( 1 M ) .
4- The tank shall be epuiped with pressure relieve valve an the top .
5- Emergency valve shall be provided with manuale valve  .
6- Liquid level pipe shall be provided .
7- Eyistence of automatic electricity disconnection key .
8- All electrical wirring should be fire resistant and shall be protectorrate and covered .
9- Operation key should be located not loss than ( 5 M ) away from the tank .
 10- External appearance shall be very good condition .
11- One dry powder and one carbon dioxide fine extinguisher each not less than ( 4.5 kg ) shall be provided .
12- Two buckets of sand shall be provided .
13-Approved plastic blackard of( flammable  liquid ) size ( 100 × 50 cm )  and it is waterproof .
14- Approved No smoking and No car parking signs .
15- Tank capacity , flammable liquids substance name and , dangerous shall be written an the tank conspicuous by red color .
16- The thickness of the flammable liquid tank shall not be less than ( 4 mm ) and shall be aluminum made .
17- The tank shall be civil defense approved .                      

Laboratories Safety requirements

1-All electrical connection shall be protected , and it is recommended to be wall recessed .
2- Shut – off switch shall be provided with timer for window Ac units .
3- Low flash – point chemicals shall be stored in cold areas or refrigerator .
4- Chemicals shall be classified according to its chemicals and physical characteristics .
5- One carbon dioxide and one drypowder portable extinguishers shall be provided .
6-Shower shall be provided for face and eyes wash .
7- first aid safety kit box shall be provided .
8-Masks and personal safety kits to protective the body face and respiratory system .
9- Toxic gases fume cupboard to be used during the experiments .
10- Thermo meter & humidity relative shall be provided .
 11- Automatic and manual electricity switch- aff  to be provided .
12- Subscription to Direct Monitoring System.
13- Experiments tables shall be distance ( 1.5 M ) meters from the wall .
14- Provide 2 No buckets filled of sand to be located near the lap entrance .
15- The lab shall be provided with Emergency door and entrance doorThe doors can resist fire for 2Hours .
16- Suitable smoke tract fans shall be provided .
17- Safety instruction , fire procedures shall be mounted in the lab .
18- LP .Gas system installation should be connected to the serviceable and connected to the gas detectors , shat – aff valves , and control panel .
19- Chemicals storage capinats shall be rust proof  type .
  
LP -GAS Cylinders storage safety Requirement

1-Gas cylinders shall be stored vertically and in places easy to acces .
2- Cylinders shall be stored away from the electricity line and flammable liquids .
3- Gases placarding shall be provided .
4- Clinders shall not exposed to the direct sun light or humidity .
5- Empty cylinders shall not stored with full cylinders .
6- The store wall ceiling be of non combustible materials .
7- All electrical wiring shall be coverd .
8- Exit doors shall be accessible and it's width shall be wide enough for cylindrs handling .
9 - Drypowder & carbon dioxide portable extinguishers shall be provided
10 - No smoking signs shall be located in visible location
11-Cylinders shall be stored on wooden ballets .
12- Gas cylinders storage area , shall be located at a distance not less        
Than ( 3 M ) from filling station premises and shall be stored according to the gas type specifications .
13 -    Safety instruction , fire procedures shall be mounted in the store.
14- Safety kit shall be provided and located out side the storage aria in accessible location .
15-Ventilation fans shall be provided at low level .
16- Heater or apen flame shall not be allowed in cylinder storage area .
17-Trolyes shall be used to handle the gas cylinders .
18- Cylinders valves shall be protected by safety caps .
19- Safe distance bettween storage ballets shall not be less than ( 1. 5M ) .
20-Loading & unloding platform shall be allowed to fowllitats loading
Unloading operations and platforms height shall be equal to the cylinders truck hight .
