Under the auspicious and Participation of Hon’abe Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Mistier of Tolerance and Chairperson of UAE for Genetic Diseases has participated with Dubai Civil Defense in “ Rare Diseases Rally”, organized by  “ High Hopes”  Center for Children Therapy and Rehabilitation, at Kite Beach Jumeriah, in commemorating of Rare Diseases International Day 2020.  

Dubai Civil Defense participation in the rally comes to emphasizes its community role in sponsoring and supporting all activities, which achieve happiness and life wellbeing, reflect its solidarity with the families suffer from rare diseases, instilling UAE society humanitarian values and contributing along with other partners in spreading preventative awareness culture. 

The event includes also honoring ceremony of Dubai Civil Defense, in recognition of its efforts in making the event a successful one, honoring shield was delivered to Major Dr. Ahmed Yousuf Al Shengiti, Director of Government Communication Department. 

For his part, Al Shengiti stressed that DCD’s participation is derived from its dedicated commitment towards community responsibilities and contribution to integrating with all social issues, embodied in its strategic plans, launching, adopting and participating in the initiatives which will have a positive impact on community sectors.
