Maj. Gen. Expert Rashid Thani Rashid Al Matrooshi, Director General of Dubai Civil Defense, reviewed fire and rescue men sports program, launched as part of the “Competency” program set for fire & rescue sector.

The launched program aims to increase fire and rescue men's effective physical activities, and in turn contribute to building their physical capabilities, which will enhance skills in the professional working field, swift decision-taking while facing underway task challenges.

Firefighters training program map includes, endurance drills, push up, sport intelligence skills, weights lifting, and skip barriers, balance and flexibility exercises.

Among attendance were Brig. Rashid Khalifah Al Buflasah, assist. Director-General for Smart Services, Brig. Expert Ali Hassan Al Mutawa, assist. Director-General for fire and rescue, and Col. Expert Yusuf Rashid Al Megazoui, Director of Fire Stations Department.
