Officers and Warrant Officers at Karamah fire station conducted themed (Cool Summer), which comes under the community initiatives implemented regularly by Dubai Civil Defence, and set to target workers at Al Jadaf area. The initiative includes distribution of water and chilled drinks to under-construction buildings workers, and other workers present on the roads, in recognition of their exerted efforts in such challenging weather and in a bid to alleviate the impact of the increase in the temperature they suffer.

Stations’ officers demonstrated awareness axis and other precautionary measures to be followed by workers during the summer season to protect themselves from any injury aftermath caused due to hot climate and temperature increase.

Major Amer Abdul Wahab Al Gahtani, Deputy Director of Karamah fire station, has noted that (Cool Summer) initiative is one of the initiatives performed by DCD based on its responsibility spirit commitment towards the community, aiming to enhance voluntary and humanitarian work, extending helping hand to all sectors of the community, emphasizing such initiatives embedding wise leadership methodology and directives in serving humanity.
