National Screening Center Al Khawaneej, which affiliates to Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (AHSC), has honored Mizher fire station in recognition of their excellent efforts showcased in making the Novel Corona Virus-COVID 19 testing process at NSC successful, efficiently and professionally carried out.

Said fire station was tasked, since the beginning, to secure National Screening Center, also performs evacuations drills as per latest international standards, to testing readiness levels in anticipation of emergencies, and to make sure firefighting systems are working properly, as well as training the workers on correct ways to respond to fire incident and evacuating the place before the arrival of specialized squads.

1st. Lt. Hamadan Mohammed Al Ahababi, deputy director of Mizher fire station, received the honoring certificate from Dr. Maryam Jumaa Al Falasi, Director of NSC-Al Khawaneej.

He confirmed that DCD is dedicated to support and enhance its constructive cooperation with all strategic partners who work in the front line to protect society against COVID 19 pandemic; accordingly, we have set awareness plans and programs for workers in the health field and provide them with the necessary instructions to handle emergencies during performing their tasks, and also conducting evacuation programs and drills in a way that their safety from risks is assured.
