Mirdif School Students Praise DCD’S First Line Heroes

Merdif American Schools Administration (MASA) expressed its sincere appreciation to Dubai civil Defense first line heroes; during the visit conducted by school students to Emirates Martyr's fire station, in coordination with the Department of Government Communication Department – Community Service Section.

During the said visit, students expressed their proudness of the role that DCD’S heroes demonstrated while responding to Novel CORONA Virus Pandemic – “COVID 19”, and to the efforts, they showed in different other fields to protect the students and the community.

The students also displayed a number of artistic coloring drawing that depicts the values of sacrifice showcased by first line personnel, encompassing positive dealing in the shadow of a fast pandemic spreading, and dedication exerted to spread education and awareness on how to face the virus, urging community sects to bide by precautionary measures, in addition to their basic role in ensuring the safety of lives and properties. 

Major Sultan Bin Haddeh, deputy director of the fire center, praised this beautiful gesture made by the school’s administration and students, who have positively contributed in making wise leadership plans to curb the pandemic successful, by totally adhering to the instructions jointly issued by the ministry of health and education, including social distancing and avoiding gathering with others.

At the end of the visit, DCD’S was honored by the School administration, where a commemorative shield was handed to Major Bin Haddeh.
