His Excel. Lt. Gen. Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi and His Excel. Major Gen. Jamal bin Aded Al Muhairi honor the Services and Equipment Department with the Best Department Award

His Excel. Lt. Gen. Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Director - General of the Dubai Civil Defense, and His Excel. Maj. Gen. Jamal bin Aded Al Muhairi, Assistant Director-General for Resources and Support Services, honored the Services and Equipment Department with the Best Management Award, and the Emirates Martyrs Fire Center with the Best Center Award, for the distinguished achievement and success in the month of October, in organizing the employees’ visit to Expo 2020 since the launch of the most prominent event in the world hosted by the country in the Emirate of Dubai, His Excellency also honored the coordinators of the Expo 2020 organizational team for their efforts to arrange the employee’s visits to the exhibition.

The visits organized by DCD to Expo 2020, are part of the importance of the role played by DCD, in participating in national tasks to implement the national strategic plans.

This honor is the first initiative of the (Expo 2020 organizational team) to provide awards and incentives to employees, as the team works under the supervision of His Excel. Lt. Gen. Expert / Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Director – General>

Headed by His Excel. Maj. Gen. Jamal bin Aded Al Muhairi, Assistant Director-General for Resources and Support Services, aims to organize employees’ visits to Expo 2020, promote and live with it, and view global experiences and opportunities presented at the global event.

The honoring came during the dialogue session held by the Control and Inspection Department at the Fazaa Pavilion at Expo 2020, in which Captain Eissa Ahmed Al Mutawaa, Director of the Monitoring and Inspection Department and Deputy Head of the Expo 2020 organizational team, reviewed the series of procedures and steps taken by the United Arab Emirates to host the global event. The first of its kind in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.

He also reviewed overcoming the challenges that the country faced in holding the global event on time, after the spread of the Corona pandemic, and the efforts made by the rational leadership, which culminated in the launch of Expo 2020 Dubai and gave it a strong impetus to the global recovery process for the post-Covid-19 era.

The event came in the presence of Colonel Expert/ Ahmed Kamedesh, Director of the Emirates Martyrs' Fire and Rescue Station, Colonel/ Expert/ Hussain Muhammad Al-Rahoumi, Director of the Expo 2020 Fire Station, Major/ Obaid Muhammad Al-Mansoori, Deputy Director of Operations Department, and Major/ Fahd Bukhashem, Deputy Director of Services and Equipment Department.
