With the participation of His Excel. Lt. Gen. Expert Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Director-General of the General Directorate of DCD, a celebration 0n the occasion of Martyr's Day was held, at the Emirates Martyrs' Fire and Rescue Station.

The ceremonies commemorating “Martyr’s Day” included downing the flag at half-mast, from 8:00 to 11:30 in the morning, and standing for a minute of silent prayer from 11:30 to 11:31 in appreciation, reverence for the martyrs of the UAE who sacrificed courageously their lives for the sake of the nation’s elevation. At 11:31, the UAE flag was raised, accompanied by the national anthem.

The celebration was held in the presence of His Excel. Brig. Gen. Rashid Khalifa Al Falasi, Assistant Director-General for Smart Services, His Excel. Brigadier Gen. Expert Ali Hassan Al Mutawaa, Assistant Director-General for Fire and Rescue Affairs, and a group of officers.
