H. H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of “Dubai Council for Border Crossing Points Security”, and Chairman of Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, visited the DCD platform at Intersec 2022. After His Highness inaugurated today the activities of the 23rd session of the Safety and security exhibition, whose activities will continue at the DWTC until January 18th, with the participation of major international companies from different countries of the world, to provide the latest technologies and solutions in the field of security, safety, and protection.
H. H. was received upon his visit to the DCD platform by Brig. Gen/ Rashid Khalifa Al Falasi, Ass. Director-General for Smart Services, Brig. Expert/ Ali Hassan Al Mutawa, Ass. Director-General for Fire and Rescue Affairs, and Maj. Dr. Ahmed Yousef Al Shangiti, Director of Government Communications Department.
H. H. was briefed on the equipment and tools used by the Emirates Safety Laboratory, which was inaugurated in early January 2022, followed by an explanation of how the laboratory works and the high-quality services provided to customers.
His Excel. Brig. Gen. Expert/ Ali Hassan Al-Mutawa, said during his detailed explanation of H. H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, that the ESL is the first of its kind in the Middle East, equipped with the latest technology in this field, and is designed according to the best international specifications and standards, to provide its services In the fields of safety and protection, he also pointed out that the laboratory granted with the best staff with the best competencies and expertise, who supervise all inspections to ensure the quality of materials and products used in construction operations, and their compliance with the standards and requirements in the Emirate of Dubai.
His Excel. Brig. Gen. Expert/ Ali Hassan Al-Mutawa pointed in a press statement that the ESL represents a qualitative addition to the steps and procedures followed to protect lives and properties, and contributes to providing smart solutions that take into account access to the highest indicators of protection and prevention of risks, also assured that the laboratory holds an accreditation certificate, which qualifies it to be the official authority in the emirate to obtain a certificate of completion and accreditation of safety products and to ensure that they comply with the specifications and requirements required for safety and prevention in accordance with the highest quality standards for safety and fire prevention methods.
