With the continuation of the activities of Intersec 2022 in its 23rd edition, and on its second day, His Excel. Lt. Gen./ Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Director-General of the DCD received at the Civil Defense stand, His Excel. Maj. Gen./ Dr. Jassim Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Commander-in-Chief of Civil Defense, and His Excel. Mr. Mark Goldsack the Director of the Department for International Trade Defense and Security Organization in the United Kingdom, His Excel. provided his honored guests during a tour in the Civil Defense platform, with a full explanation of the participation of DCD in the 23rd edition of the exhibition, which represents a qualitative leap through the Emirates Fire Safety Laboratory, The first of its kind in the Middle East, which is considered as a practical tributary of civil defense in the field of prevention and safety, and a proactive step to support the construction sector to work within requirements and standards, that guarantee safety and high quality in this vital sector in the country.

Along with his companions, His Excel. took a tour and visit the major platforms participating in Intersec 2022.
Where he visited the platform of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA), as well as the platform of the Specialized Communications Corporation "Nedaa", the only and exclusive provider of secure communications networks approved in the Emirate of Dubai.
He also met during the tour with a group of Managers and Experts in the fields of security and safety who are participating this year in the Exhibition, aiming to develop capabilities in these areas, through local and global smart equipment and solutions in the fields of security, cybersecurity, safety and accident prevention.
