His Excellency Lieutenant General Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, Director General of Dubai Civil Defence, received the Civil Defense champions, who won the first place with merit, during their participation in the government games competitions in its fourth edition for the year 2023, Who deserved to earn first place and whose victory will have a positive effect on all employees in terms of fitness and physical condition as a fundamental requirement.
On this occasion, His Excellency Lieutenant General Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, Director General of Dubai Civil Defence stated “I am pleased to celebrate the win of Dubai Civil Defense champions for their achievement of the first place in this government competition which united us in the spirit of challenge and teamwork. As I extend my gratitude for His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, for his high commands to all interior ministry employees and his constant encouragement to teamwork and team spirit up to the highest positions. As His Highness asserts the importance of the athletic competitions and championships as well as performing sports in general, as it plays a vital role in fostering social harmony and serving as a model for future generations.
On the other hand, His Excellency added, "This competition falls under the directives of our wise leadership, their support, and their encouragement through the launch of the strongest, the best, and the most challenging initiative, which encourages exercise and the implementation of an active lifestyle. Where sports became one of the followed methodologies in the work field, Where Dubai Civil Defense works on devoting enough time and putting the athletic goal in their daily agenda due to its positive impact on a physical and mental level. Today, we seek the fruit of this diligence and persistence in achieving competitive results as well as achieving primacy at state level in the men's category, to prove that they possess the skills and collective energy to overcome the impossible, thereby increasing the index of security and safety in society.
