Maj. Gen. Jassim Mohammed Almarzouqi, Civil Defense Commander in chief has crowned, Dubai Civil Defense football team as a champion of 3rd Ramadan Commander in chief Championship 2019, after its victory over Fujairah Civil Defense 1/0, in the final match played at Ajman Civil Defense play ground.

In attendance were Brig. Abdullaziz Shamsi, director general of Ajman Civil Defense, Brig. Rashid Khalifah Albufalsa, Dubai Civil Defense assistant director for smart services, Brig. Mohammed Ali Alsuwaidi, head of Championship organizing committee.

Both teams demonstrated strong match featuring high spirit of rivalry and strong performance, reflected in the exchange of attacks, threatening the goals, team on each side strived to early settling the situation in his favor. Finally DCD'S team captain Adnan Hussein managed to score a golden goal before the end of halftime. DCD'S team maintains the title for the second time in row.

Dubai Civil Defense football team won a number of prizes, as technical manager of the team Mr. Dafallah Haj Saeed was awarded the best coach prize, while Obaid Shabi awarded the best goal keeper prize and the best player prize went to player Adnan Hussein.

Gen. Almarzouqi confirmed that prime objective of the Championship is to build the teams work, through sport mechanism, to positively contribute in achieving the strategic goals of Civil Defense GHQ. He also praised the role of the departments who have taken part in the competitions, and the enthusiastic spirit and determination demonstrated by the players will enhance our efforts to protect lives and properties. Organizing committee efforts put forward to make the event a successful one was appreciated as well by the Commander in chief.
