Department of Dubai Civil Defense and EXPO Live 2020, have discussed ways to support Home Guardian scheme suggested by student Hamad ALHabssi of American University Ras Al-Khaimah, which aims to prevent fire incidents via smart phone application, where house owner can report any case of Gas leakage, electric shortcut or any of other home fire causes.

This initiative comes under EXPO LIVE program umbrella “Universities Innovation Program”, which focuses on UAE universities students, and their innovative ideas that can help in solving challenges faced locally. EXPO LIVE program is considered an innovative partnership program launched to accelerate innovative solutions development process, aiming at improving human life and protection the earth planet.

Meeting was attended by Major Ali Alhammadi, director of Qusais fire station, Captain Mohammed AL Bufalsa, Captain Talal Isa deputy director of Qusais fire station and Lady Moza Lootah from EXPO.
