Under the auspicious of Excellency Maj. Gen. Expert Rashid Thani Rashid AL Matrooshi, director general of Dubai Civil Defense, DCD’s HQ has celebrated the 48th UAE National Day, at its premises, in attempt to enhance gratitude and proudness among employees.
Celebration ceremony, which was organized by Government Communication department, has casted light on noble UAE values deep-rooted in its national identity, through ceremony various items displayed.
AL Matrooshi, expressed his congratulations to H. H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin zayed ALNahyan, President of State, and to his brother H. H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid ALMaktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and to their brothers, their highnesses’ Rulers of other Emirates, on the occasion of UAE National Day, confirming belonging to nation and allegiance to the wise leadership, behind the banner of splendor and glory in the nation’s long march of progress and prosperity.
He also referred to rapid steps the nation going through towards comprehensive development, and modernization by reshaping the future, and using latest artificial intelligence applications to achieve excellence, and steps that put our country in first line of pioneered countries in different social, economic and cultural fields, to stay on the pinnacle of international indicators measurements.
ALMatrooshi, also emphasized that Dubai Civil Defense has achieved tremendous success, within the last 25 years, in its different HR, Equipment, technological capabilities, and changed from an entity that attracts experiences and skilled labor from other countries, to an entity that export its expertize and experiences to advanced countries, a thing that can be attributed to ongoing support DCD gets from our wise leadership, and as a result of affluent abilities, qualifications and experiences possessed by employees.
Event ceremony program items include performing national anthem; documentary film depicts past and present time of UAE, which has become one of the best countries worldwide, due to its wise leadership ambition.
Also, includes entertainment items, demonstration displayed by Creative Model school students branded as “The story of UAE”, and “UAE Youth Image”, traditional dress competition, where participants from different countries take place, and finally the tradition contest.
AL Matrooshi, event sponsor, and his guests have had a tour in the Emirati heritage area, Souq, tradition band corner, food corner and Arabian coffee.
