Brig. Rashid Albufalasah, Col. Ali Almutawaa Attend Iftar Banquet at Martyrs Fire station
Brig. Rashid Khalifa Albufalasah, assistant director for smart services and Col. expert Ali Hassan Almutawaa, assistant director for fire and rescue affairs have shared Martyrs fire station officers and personnel Ramadan Iftar Banquet, in the presence of Capt. Sultan Bin Haddeh, station deputy director.
The event comes as a continuation of DCD'S initiatives and program scheduled to take place during the holy month of Ramadan, aiming at cementing the relationship between senior and junior staff, and enhancing social ties among them as a one family to more achievements.
Brig. Rashid emphasized that such programs Dubai Civil Defense used to carry out every year as a part of celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, reflecting best form of integration between different components of Dubai Civil Defense right from the director general, his assistants up to all other staff, in a tolerant and brotherly atmosphere that leads to more understanding while executing assigned tasks and duties, and ensuring best services are delivered to customers.
Maj. gen. expert Rashid Thani Almatrooshi, Director General of Dubai Civil Defense has received today at his office lady Hind Almarri, executive director of the institute, and Dr. Ibrahim Alagabash, Dubai Institute of Real estate advisor, in the presence of Col. expert Ali Hassan Almutawaa, assistant director for fire and rescue affairs.
Two entities have reviewed areas of joint cooperation that can serve their mutual benefit, and possible ways of partnership to boost customer’s services delivered, methods to educate real estate owners and investors on the value added to have fire systems installed in their buildings.
Number of Dubai Civil Defense officers, employees and working ladies have taken part in the initiative themed "Their Suhoor on Us", organized by Community Development Authority (CDA), at Abdullrahim Bin Kutait, in participation of workers from across Government entities in emirate of Dubai. Initiative aims at making people aware of the importance of Suhoor meal, by distributing the meals across the labour category, and the voluntary work.
Initiative comes in line with Dubai Civil Defense community responsibility, to enhance spirit of cooperation, voluntary and support issues, and emphasizing community integration in humanitarian works.
Brig. Jamal Almuheiri Attends Iftar Banquet at Nad Alshiba Fire Station
Brig. Jamal Bin Aadid Almuheiri , assistant director for resources and support services, has attended Iftar banquent hosted by Nad Alshiba fire station officers and personnel, in the presence of Col. expert Ali Hassan Almutawaa, assistant director for fire and rescue Maj. Mohammed Abdulrahman Al Saleh, acting director of the station, Capt. Mohammed Abdulrahman Tahlek, fire station deputy director. Event comes under DCD'S social understanding program and its corporate initiatives carried out during the holy month of Ramadan, to renew communication between different workers functional categories, aiming at enhancing the spirit of loyalty and fostering social ties among them to positively affect the workplace environment.
Col. Almutawaa emphasized that Dubai Civil Defense is always dedicated to cement fraternity and love across workers of different specialties fields, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, where spirituality is maintained high.

More than 1m workers trained on safety requirements
In line with Dubai Civil Defense launched strategy to upgrade community preventive awareness and train different of its sectors on the basic Safety requirements, taking the important role of the workers category in economic sector encompasses productive, marketing, storage and services branches, Dubai Civil Defense has set five years long training plan, based on scientific standards derived from the requirements needed by each and every facility, factory and warehouse, plan implementation started on 2014.
Dubai Civil Defense managed between 2015 -2018 to train more than one million workers across different factories, commercial and services establishments, which helped to decrease the total number of fire incidents by 8%, because of the quick response by trained workers to the fires in initial stages, prior to arrival of fire squads. The number of fire incidents where the public have directly involved in fighting is estimated at 239 incidents.
Hundreds thousands of workers been trained during implementing the plan, forms strong support for Dubai Civil Defense strategy aiming to prepare the members of the community to participate as strategic partners of Civil Defense in ensuring public safety.
Moreover, trained workers will have awareness added value among their respective families.
By training this number of workers, Dubai Civil Defense has achieved the sufficient number of trainees required in different economic sectors according to the strategy set to deal with fire incidents based on the analytical studies of necessary enablers and capabilities needed to respond to potential challenges.
In addition, Community awareness and training teams of Civil Protection department will continue in conducting their training courses that target the different sectors of the community, according to periodical statistical studies results of incidents locations and causes.
Worth mentioning that said awareness teams have conducted 1336 lectures and training sessions in 2018 only, where 94520 people of different age groups were involved.
Training such number of workers on basic of firefighting skills and on how to use fire equipment and on how to implement evacuation procedures during emergency is considered essential factor in instilling the social infrastructure of basic public safety.
In the presence of Brig. Jamal Bin Aadid Almuheirie, assistant director general of Dubai Civil Defense for resources and support services, Dubai Civil Defense GHQ has hosted an Iftar banquet for fire and rescue officers and firemen at Rashidiah fire center. In attendance were Brug. Rashid Khalifa Albufalasa, assistant director general for Smart Services, Col. expert Ali Hassan Almutawaa, assistant director for Fire and Rescue and Capt. Marwan Alkamali, deputy director of Rashidiah fire station.
The event was held as a part of Dubai Civil Defense Ramadan program, which brings all leaders and staff get together in a family atmosphere, to exchange ideas and listen to each other's opinions in more friendly way, that enhances their attachment to the department, encouraging the relationships between junior and senior staff in a warm and brotherly way outside the workplace.
Brig. Almuheirie emphasized that Ramadan events program will have its positive impact on DCD'S employees level in general and fire and rescue men spirit in particular.
DCD'S plans and policies are meant to utilize all the events to achieve more performance integration and fostering cooperation amongst employees.
As a part of Civil Defense Commanders in Chief Ramadan Football Championship,3 edition, Dubai Civil Defense football team was qualified to the semi final stage by beating Dubai City football team 2/0 scored by Kapa and Ricki, during the match played yesterday at Ajman Civil Defense play ground, to crown its third winning in row,that put the team in the peak of the group, team demonstrated good show through out match time, stressing the readiness to sustain its title it got last year.
Jebal Ali fire station football squad has achieved grand victory by defeating Emirates Academy 17/2, during the match Played yesterday at Mazher Park ground, within the first group of Tolerance Ramadan Championship,organized by Dubai Civil Defense, Qusais and DU company teams, of the same group, result was equal 9/9.
Competition will continue today, as Dubai Parks team will play against Port Saeed, while other two teams of the group 2, namely HR and Rashydia will play also today
In the presence of Maj.gen.expert Rashid Thani Almatrooshi,director general of Dubai Civil Defense, Dubai Civil Defense administration has hosted Ramadan Iftar Banquet,for workers at Holiday Inn hotel, Festival city. Iftar Banquet was attended by Brig.Jamal Bin Aadid assistant director for resources and support services, Brig.Rashid Alfalsa, assistant director for smart services, Col.expert Ali Hassan Almutawa, assistant director for fire and rescue.
The event comes in line with the administration's objectives set to foster the ties between senior staff and junior staff, as such Ramadan gathering are significantly important to enhance social relationships away from daily routine work atmosphere, cementing corporate loyalty.
Almatrooshi emphasized that Dubai Civil Defense is always confirming that keeping communication with different functional categories is vital to achieve success, and meeting the requirements of Dubai Civil Defense successfull strategy.
He added, We feel happy for conducting such form of understanding which leads to instill cooperation spirit as one family to achieve work success.
Dubai Parks football team managed to defeat its rival Ras fire station football team 6/2, in the meeing runned yesterday at ALmizher Park play ground, both teams belong to group 1, in Tolerance Ramadan Tournament, organized by DCD. The second match witnessed the victory of Port Saeed over Rashidiah 9/2.
Matches expected today, are including Jebal Ali VS Emirates Academy, and Qusais VS DU Company.
Dubai Civil Defense has organized in association with Thukhor Social Club for Elderly, Iftar banquet for our elderly fathers, as a part of its initiatives launched during the Holy Month of Ramadan, and to instill Government of Dubai vision aiming at enhancing cultural, social, entertainment and health aspects of the Elderly people life, to facilitate their integration into the society.
The program includes various events featuring religious, social, and cultural patterns, that festering positive debate in typical family atmosphere.
Mrs Hawuida Bin Touq ,deputy director of Government Communications Department, emphasized that Dubai Civil Defense is very keen to play its community's role and cementing its relations with all public and private organizations, in such a way that community's objectives of emirate of Dubai are better served, as per the directives of Gen. Expert ALMatrooshi, Director general of the Department.
Hosting Iftar banquet at Thukhor Social Club for Elderly is one of DC'S community's initiatives set to spread the values of Islamic religion, humanitarian works and to get in touch closely with the Elderly people who have spent their time in serving the nation.
Monitoring and Inspection Department football squad has defeated DU company's football team 7/5, in the match held yesterday at ALMizher park playground within the second group competitions running in Tolerance Ramadan Championship 2019, organized by Dubai Civil Defense, the victory helped to increase winning teams points to 4, while DU maintains 3 points.
Within the same group, Jebal Ali fire station football squad has defeated its rival Qusais football squad 6/4, to add 3 more points to its balance, while the later maintains only one point.
For today's matches schedule will include Dubai Parks VS Ras fire station, first match of the third round group 1, while Port Saeed fire station will face Rashidiah in the second match.
Major. Gen. Expert Rashid Thani ALMatrooshi, director general of Dubai Civil Defense continued in implementing his program set to visit the excellent and distinguished firefighters, during the Holy Month of Ramadan and attend Iftar banquet with them, accompanied by Brig. Jamal Bin Aadid, assistant director for resources and support services, Brig. Rashid Alfalasi assistant director for smart services, Col. Expert Ali Hassan Almutawaa, assistant director for fire and rescue, 1st Lt. Eisa Ahmed Almutawaa, acting deputy director of Monitoring and Inspection Department.
In line with the community's understanding AlMatrooshi and his assistants, had visited 1st Warrant Officer Eng. Rashid Ibrahim Albahri in his house and took Iftar meal with his family, in recognition of his valued sacrifice efforts demonstrated with his fellows the other fire and rescue men to face risks challenges to ensure community's safety and protection.
H.E AlMatrooshi has also emphasized that our visit comes to reaffirm the importance role of firefighter in the society, Dubai Civil Defense carries out a number of initiatives which aim to enhance the ties among its personnel to better serve the noble objectives, safeguard the society against potential incidents and raise preventive awareness level across community's sectors.
