The sector is tasked with setting and implementing smart Government operations and services plans and programs, in accordance to Dubai strategy 2021 aiming at achieving global leadership in smart services, supervises cloud applications management, ensuring information security readiness and safety, it also ensuring devices and operating technologies sustainability. Smart services sector is tackling also the issue of setting and implementing standards, polices and future development plans of electronic and smart digital transactions, which enabling customers to accurately and timely accomplish their transactions. In addition, sector also manages smart systems project set to monitor electronically protected buildings, one of the main pillars of public safety at all buildings and establishments in the emirate of Dubai.
