Annual Report 2017

The annual report encompasses the message of the Director-General, which confirms the trend of Dubai Civil Defence towards maximum utilization of artificial intelligence applications, as one of the conversion process pillars towards smart services. It includes also, important achievements of main DCD’s sectors and supportive departments, fire statistics and causes, and evacuation drills. Introducing fire stations and their areas of jurisdictions, reflecting the growth was seen in HR, Finance and IT departments, as well as the substantial role played by women element in managing and implementing Civil Defence development strategy, were among other topics annual report contains.

Annual Report 2016

The report contains Director General’s message, which includes the most important achievements of the civil defense during 2016 in administrative, professional and service fields, including the creation of the smart services sector and Dolphin initiative to fight fires on ships and coastal facilities. The report contains a special report about The Address Hotel fire which occurred on New Year's Eve in the Burj Khalifa area. Civil Defence proved its professional capabilities to fight the fire without human casualties, which stunned the world. The report also covers the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to the UAE Martyrs' fire station to honor the participating teams that put out the fire at the Address Hotel, in addition to the achievements of the Civil Defense in the various service sectors.

Our Emirates" Book

This book, in Arabic and English, summarizes the basic information about the UAE in the past and present, the stages of establishing the state and the constitutional texts, it also introduces the founders of the Union; "the president, vice president and members of the Federal Supreme Council ". This book also explains the meaning of UAE’s flag and refers to the historical founders of each emirate, previous and current rulers and their crown princes. It also highlights the most important global competitive achievements by the state during the past five decades. In addition to recalling our three Arab islands occupied by Iran.

Annual Report 2014

The report contains General Manager’s message which was dedicated to discussing the Dubai Civil Defense strategy to achieve the requirements of "smart civil defense" for the Dubai Smart City, in addition to performance indicators that recorded increasing growth in various resources and services. It also refers to the drop in incidents total number and size particularly large and medium incidents which did not exceed 3.9% of the total number of fires. The report contains the Customer Service Charter from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and covers HH visit to Al Manara fire station, and a report on the national campaign for safety in industrial areas, during which civil defense teams visited (12,587) industrial establishments to assess the safety requirements in accordance with (UAE Fire and Life Safety Code). The report contains the main points of the civil defense strategy for main and support operations. It also includes a report on the results of the home safety campaign, which showed a decrease in the number of fires in homes by 38% compared to the previous year. In this six-month campaign, 58,384 houses were visited by 95% of the total number of homes in Dubai. The report contains the civil defense strategic plan (2009-2015), it,s sixth strategic objectives and its specific objectives.
