Introduction:
The Drawings & Projects approval section is considered a part and parcel of the Preventive Safety department, for its crucial part- play in the growth and evolution of Dubai from the architectural point of view, and because of its role in facilitating procedures through the study and approval of projects, and through finding solutions for complicated projects.

Important notes:
* Please de informed that, if a project is executed by more than one Contractor, payment of drawing approval fee shall de amole only once.
* Project shall include (fire alarm, fire fighting systems, and voice of evacuation system)
* Effectively from 25/07/2009 a new mode for payment of Drawings fees will come into force. According to the new mode payment of every single project, drawing fees must be made once by the Consultant Company only not company Contractors
* would like to inform all Consultants offices to include the built area in an official letter addressed to Civil Defence in which they undertake to be held responsible for the correctness of the figure mentioned. The area of the stories shall also be included. Civil Defence approval must be obtained prior to any alteration or addition. -N.B. The consultant office shall be held responsible for any fault
