Mizher Park playground witnessed yesterday night the glorified Ramadan Tolerance Championship 2019 closing ceremony, a tournament organized by DCD under the patronage of H.E. Maj. Gen. expert Rashid Almatrooshi, director general for its different departments and centers, as part of Ramadan events and programs, the colorful closing ceremony was held in the presence of Lt. Col. Expert Jumaa Mohammed Mubarak, director of Emirates Academy for Civil Defense, Lt. Col. Pilot Hamad Balsuwaida, director of Barsha fire station, 1st Lt. Hamad Thani, head of sport section, Mr. Saeed Julfar senior director of technology strategy at DU Company.
Dubai Parks fire station football team has made a miracle victory by defeating its tough rival Monitoring Dept. football team 5/2, in the final match. Former team players surprised the audience by the two scores achieved in the nearly moments by Mohammed Ali, both teams struggled hard to win the Cup, Monitoring team managed during the second half time to score one goal, when its player Adnan Hussein translated a chance of kicking a plenty into real goal, then Dubai Parks score its third goal by Fahad Ismail to bring back the to team fans, who anxiously watching the performance, followed by the fourth goal scored by Mohammed Ali, in between Monitoring players beefed their energy and scored their second goal by Marwan, making Dubai Parks team more enthusiastic to reaffirm the victory by the fifth goal recorded by Khalil Abdullah.
The trophy was delivered to the winning team by Lt. Col. Expert Jumaa Mubarak during the colorful ceremony, strategic partners and sponsors including DU, DM, referees and the commentator Ahmed Yousuf Almazroui.
Khalil Abdullah was presented with the best goal keeper prize, and his colleague Mohammed Ali presented with best player prize, Championship striker selected was Adnan Hussein from Monitoring Dept. team, best team administrator selected is Jassim Alajmi also from Monitoring department team. Ideal football team prize awarded to Human Resources football team.
