Maj. gen. expert Rashid Thani Almatrooshi, director general of Dubai Civil Defense has chaired a meeting held to discuss EXPO 2020 Protection and Backup Plan, convened meeting includes directors of operations departments at Civil Defense regional departments, in the presence of Col. expert Ali Hassan Almutawaa, assistant director general for fire and rescue affairs, Lt. Col. Expert Hussein Mohammed Alrahoumi director of fire stations department.

For his part, Gen. ALMatrooshi reviewed Civil Defense role and preparations for stages and steps to be taken to safeguard the global iconic event, in the operational specialty side, and in cooperation with the strategic stakeholders as required.

He also emphasized that Civil Defense work in a harmony across the country through safeguarding and back up operations.
