His Excel. Lt. Gen. Al Matrooshi honors the Emirati Champion Amer Huweir
His Excel. Lt. Gen. Worth mentioning that the champion Amer Abdul Razzaq won second place in the World Aqua Bike Championship 2022, which was organized in Thailand on January 12, and preceded her by achieving many achievements during his sporting career, most notably the first place in the GP3 Gals category dedicated to UAE stars, topping the list. The overall ranking with 270 points in the UAE International Aqua Bike Championship 2019, by winning the first place in the Super Stock category in the Sharjah Drag Race 2019, and won the UAE 2020 season championship, which took place over 3 rounds, and was crowned first in the UAE Jet ski Marathon Championship.

The Intersec Exhibition was held over three days at the DWTC. In accordance with (ELS) the Emirates Laboratory Safety, which works in the best international standards, and operational procedures, providing services in the areas of safety and prevention that enhance the leadership of DCD in the specialized fields to achieve its goals in reaching the highest indicators of protection and prevention of potential dangers.
In the same context, His Excel. also received Col. Sami Khamis Al Naqbi, Director-General of Sharjah Civil Defense, Col. Raed Obaid Al Zaabi, Director-General of Ajman Civil Defense, Col. Omar Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Director of Rescue and Fire Sector at Abu Dhabi Civil Defense, and Col. Dr. Maitha Mohammed Al Darei, Director of the Training Department of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority. His Excel. discussed aspects of mutual cooperation with civil defense departments in the country and the strengthening of coordination to achieve the best safety indicators and enhance procedures for protecting lives and properties.

Mr. Mark Goldsack the Director of the Department for International Trade Defense and Security Organization in the United Kingdom, His Excel. provided his honored guests during a tour in the Civil Defense platform, with a full explanation of the participation of DCD in the 23rd edition of the exhibition, which represents a qualitative leap through the Emirates Fire Safety Laboratory, The first of its kind in the Middle East, which is considered as a practical tributary of civil defense in the field of prevention and safety, and a proactive step to support the construction sector to work within requirements and standards, that guarantee safety and high quality in this vital sector in the country.

The agreement stipulates that the company will implement and program the new automated system for reporting and incident management at DCD, also programming smart devices to link the incident management system, and providing consultations related to all system services.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Dubai carried out an evacuation drill in (Burj Khalifa) as part of preparations to secure events, Celebrating New Year's Eve 2022, with the participation of the safety and emergency teams in Emaar Company.
The scenario of the training evacuation Exercise began, with the Civil Defense Operations Room receiving an alert at 10:00 this morning, stating that a fire had broken out on one of the floors in Burj Khalifa, where the sirens sounded, after which the safety officials began evacuating the employees, and Zabeel Civil Defense Station immediately moved The first responder, as the jurisdiction, and Alittihad Civil Defense Station for Support. Upon arrival at 10:04, achieving a response time of (4) minutes, it was found that the accident was a simple fire on the 112th floor of the fireworks launch, and the specialized units began their roles efficiently and professionally, and the accident was controlled within 10 minutes only, according to the scenario decided in advance.
Brigadier Ali Hassan Al Mutawaa, Assistant Director-General for Fire and Rescue Affairs, indicated that the exercise comes within the framework of the strategic plan of the General Directorate of Dubai Civil Defense, to ensure readiness to face accidents, testing alarms, and smart systems in all facilities, and determine the effectiveness of the internal plan and the readiness of emergency teams in public and private facilities, as well as testing the effective implementation of evacuation plans.
He noted that the exercise reflects the effectiveness of the operational plans pursued by Dubai Civil Defense, to sustain its readiness to secure New Year's Eve celebrations, and at the same time praised the preventive measures applied in Burj Khalifah in accordance with international best practices to ensure the highest measures for safety and well-being of visitors to Dubai.

The ceremonies commemorating “Martyr’s Day” included downing the flag at half-mast, from 8:00 to 11:30 in the morning, and standing for a minute of silent prayer from 11:30 to 11:31 in appreciation, reverence for the martyrs of the UAE who sacrificed courageously their lives for the sake of the nation’s elevation. At 11:31, the UAE flag was raised, accompanied by the national anthem.

Dubai Civil Defense and Mohammed bin Rashid School for Government sign an MOU
In the presence of His Excel. Lt. Gen. Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, Director - General of Civil Defense in Dubai, His Excel. Maj. Gen. Jamal bin Aded Al Muhairi, Assistant Director-General of Resources and Support Services, and Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid School for Government, signed an MOU between the Civil Defense and the School.
The MOU aims to enhance academic cooperation and coordination between the two sides to exchange professional experiences and share knowledge through workshops, seminars, and conferences to exchange ideas, proposals, and creative and innovative programs.

Dubai Civil Defense distributes UAE flags to Expo 2020 visitors
